Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide staff augmentation support to SRNS.
  • Integrate and manage engineering activities for assigned projects by assisting in establishing design criteria, resource forecasts, schedules, and priorities.
  • Provide project management tools and methods to assigned projects and support development of future projects.
  • Manage project tasks and deliver results for cost and schedule of those tasks.
  • Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic
    guidance will be provided by SRNS

Education and Licensure

BS Degree in Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Providing overall engineering and design direction, leadership, and management for assigned projects and tasks.
  • Integrating engineering resources for assigned projects by assisting in establishing design criteria, resource forecasts, schedules, and engineering tools for engineering tasks
  • Providing administrative guidance to leads and managers.
  • Responsibilities for overall management, scheduling, and priority of the tasks and projects assigned.
  • 21+ years of experience required. Additional education can be considered in lieu of experience. 
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. 
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS:

  • Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
  • Registered PE licensure in any state. 
  • 6:45am-5:15pm EST Mon-Thurs
  • One year base period with two additional one year option periods. 
  • 100% onsite Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense.
  • Project(s) supported: Central Engineering (H area, F area, SRPPF)
