Overview

This unique position offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise in Structural Engineering and evaluation of existing structures in a whole new way. Our growing Structural Engineering Department is seeking a qualified Engineer to lead our inspection teams.

Geosyntec has a very diverse set of clients and as such there is a broad spectrum of projects that may involve; bridges, dams, industrial processing and power facilities, heavy-civil construction, erection and controlled demolition engineering, earth retaining structures, harbors, piers, and wharfs. Our global footprint presents the potential for these projects to be located just about anywhere in the world. There is a growing demand to evaluate existing facilities to augment for increased production, retrofit or replace structures at the end of their service life, or evaluate structures under temporary conditions or unintended uses. All of this starts with the inspection of these critical structures. While the primary role of this position is to serve in a capacity as a structural inspector, you will also be asked to contribute to the evaluations (load rating) and design of repairs/retrofits/replacement for these structures.  If you’re ready for something new and not the next routine bridge inspection or building envelope evaluation, this may be the place for you. Join us to support our growth and development of our Structural Practice and continued life long learning.

While Geosyntec has offices located across the United States, the preferred office locations are in Milwaukee, WI, Ann Arbor, MI, Indianapolis, IN or Kennesaw, GA. Hybrid work is available or the opportunity to work from one of our other U.S based offices is available at the discretion of the Company.

Geosyntec is an innovative, international engineering and consulting firm serving private and public-sector clients to address new ventures and complex problems involving our environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure. Our engineers, scientists, technical and project employees serve our clients from offices across the world. Ranked by ENR as one of the top environmental engineering design firms, Geosyntec is internationally known for its technical leadership, broad experience, and exceptional client service.

We invest in our people.  Each employee is unique, and your career at Geosyntec will be too.  We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.
