Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Data processing and analyses;
  • Surface water modeling (hydrodynamic, hydraulic, hydrologic and water quality);
  • Field data collection;
  • Writing technical reports;
  • Performing engineering/scientific calculations and critical reviews of technical reports;
  • Attending meetings with clients and regulatory authorities; and
  • Support development of proposals in response to RFPs.
  • Training: We offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, technical model training, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.  

Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in water resource engineering, coastal engineering, civil engineering, water resource scientist, coastal science, or closely related field (required)
  • Master's degree in related field (preferred)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in the development and application of surface water models. (preferred)
  • Programing skills to support data processing and analyses.
  • Good communication and report development skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • GIS Capabilities. (preferred)  
  • Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required) 
  • Field data collection experience. (preferred)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
  • Valid passport (or eligibility to obtain) and ability/willingness to travel internationally to support waterfront project work. (preferred)
  • Boating experience. (preferred)
