Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Systems Training Specialist to join our team in one of our other U.S based offices such as: Seattle, WA, Lakewood, CO, Chicago, IL, Sacramento, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA or Columbia, MD with the potential to work remotely at the discretion of the Company.  Our ideal candidate will work to implement and train our organization on the use of Infor ERP and other internal accounting systems. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive training materials and deliver engaging live virtual training sessions to our employees. Our ideal candidate will have project or financial accounting experience in the AEC industry, be conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and a team player attitude. The position will report to the VP of Accounting and collaborate closely with the Learning and Development group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of Infor system functionality and features.
  • Develop and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, guides, and knowledge base resources. Convert Infor documentation into engaging PowerPoint presentations for live training sessions.
  • Conduct live virtual training sessions for employees, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the new system.
  • Provide review and QC support for eLearning materials.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to employees as they learn the new system.
  • Collaborate with internal Accounting, HR (Learning and Development), Project Delivery and IT departments to ensure training materials are accurate and up to date.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, accounting, or a related field and at least five years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and education to meet the requirements of the position. (required)
  • Experience with Infor ERP software. (required)
  • Experience using ScreenSteps for documentation development. (preferred)
  • Experience delivering training through live presentations, preferably in a corporate setting. (required)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. (required)
  • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials. (required)
  • Project or financial accounting experience. (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat. (required)
  • Proficiency in virtual training tools and platforms, preferably Microsoft Teams (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail. (required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (required)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills. (required)
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and systems. (required)
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. (required)

This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.

  • Minimum Salary: $73,690/year / Maximum Salary: $110,535 /year (Sacramento, CA, San Diego, CA)
  • Minimum: $35.42 /hour / Maximum: $37.48/hour or Minimum: $77,968.80/year / Maximum: $110,535 /year (Seattle, WA)
  • Minimum Salary: $70,340/year / Maximum Salary: $105,510 /year (Lakewood, CO, Chicago, IL, Columbia, MD)
  • Minimum Salary: $77,040/year / Maximum Salary: $115,560 /year (Los Angeles, CA)
